The girls do a great job entertaining themselves in our new space. Prior to the movers arriving, I carefully created a stack of toys and marked the pink canvas box that contained them with a (here's the mistake) pink post-it that designated all things coming with us to temporary housing. Well, our polite PackMan missed the memo and now we have half a box of baby doll gear and no dollies. Yes, others made the trip either via backpacks on the plane and other random boxes, but the intended toy stash is storaged. Yes, mama did buy a Dora house and many many accessories whose entire box in its original Ebay packaging made the cut, but point being, the girls have found "new toys". Primarily the contents of mom and dad's new cool bathroom drawers (none in the old digs) and the kitchen pantry cabinet (see sweet double doors). Old things in new spaces apparently makes for big novelty. Today I had to fight Naomi for tampon. Okay, so we've crossed a new threshold for "sharing our lives", but you get the picture.
