Recovery!

Praise God, Anna's surgery has been a success! You can visit her CaringBridge site to see Nate's report, but the surgeon said things went as well as he could have hoped for. There are a multitude of immediate concerns as she lies in the PICU recovering from the surgery. Many organs were stressed during the surgery and those need to be individually assessed for function during this phase, but the surgery itself has been survived, and we are thankful for that.

Thank you for your prayers! We appreciate them all and would ask you to continue to pray for her during this recovery as she is not out of the woods, yet. She is still sedated, intubated and on a ventilator in the PICU to give her body a better chance to recover. Please keep praying as you have a chance.
