Yay for moms and dads visiting! Five inches of rain foiled our grand plans of deck building, but Dad and Kurt spent that time taking on the electrical goblins in our basement, a task much more time consuming than originally imagined. While they narrowed down the source of the problem, Mom and I kept the girls busy going to an outlet mall, walking around Del Ray, watching the neighborhood Halloween parade, and accompanying Daddy and Grandpa on a couple of their half dozen trips to Lowes. With the girls all dressed up from the parade, we headed to downtown to see Kurt's building and walk from there to take in some monuments for the first time since we've been non-tourists! Needless to say, it was wonderful to have them here and amazing that we hadn't seen them in over 3 months - it seemed like we hadn't skipped a beat when we all loaded up into the van and headed to our house. Minus the heavy traffic and sprawling interstates, we could have been in Iowa! On the return trip to BWI, my eyes stayed dry because I'll be seeing them again soon, woowoo!

ADORABLE! Love the Halloween costumes, and hope you got quite a bit of your electrical goblins chased away!!! Cheers, Lauren
The girls look great in their Halloween garb and it sounds like you all are settling in nicely! Happy Halloween!-The Kains
Zane wants more videos! We've watched the "Naomi banging her head on the wall" video and "Olaiya finding Naomi" video multiple times! It is amazing to see how big Naomi is. Makes me really miss those girls! :( Sarah
